Default WhiteTail Success and Federal Vital Shock Bullet

Went out this weekend in southern Alberta for a WT. Saw this guy wayyy out there. Dropped him with 1 shot and even recovered the bullet.
It was a Federal Vital Shock in .270

(sorry about the smudged faces, creeps me out posting my face online)

You're too modest. Didn't have much to do with the bullet. ANY bullet should be able to drop a little guy like that if properly placed. The fact that it was properly placed WAYYYYY out there is a result of your good shooting.

Just how far is "way far" anyway?

Oh, and is that the Barnes Triple shock X lead-free bullet? 130g?

Hey, great job!

Always nice to see how the projectile performs and deforms. Thanks for the pics!

Default thanks here's a full pic

Its a model 70 pre-64 in .270

The action is the smoothest, most solid piece of equipment i've ever touched.
