What kind of barrel/choke are you us? A 12g should drop a black bear pretty easily
It’s a 20” rifled barrel.
One would figure the slug would dump a mid sized black bear with authority, but in this specific instance it wasn’t that way....... defiantly gives a guy a bit to ponder about.
