Default Swan Lake or Sniple Lake ice conditions

I'm going to be heading up to the Peace Country for the Easter weekend and was wondering if anyone knew if there was any open water on either Swan or Snipe lake? Thanks in advance for any info.

was on snipe monday. Ice was still good enough to drive on. No cricks or cracks heard all day long, even with people rippin by my tent at mach 40. Maybe just me, but the fishing was terrible. As for Swan, there is always open water near the aeraters. I would be getting pretty leery about going out on that lake right now as I've found the ice to be questionable at times well before spring. But I must admit it has been about a month since I've been there. That is if the swan lake you speak of is the one by STurgeon lake and not the one on the BC border. Hope this info helps.
