Default GPSL July 2013 Another Successful Outing

Thought I would throw some of the pics from Thunder Elk and my Trip to the coast to partake in some of Jamie's hospitality. I am definitely not as literate as FisherGrrrl but a pic says a 1000 words. Hey Thunder get your creative juices flowing and put something up.

A 40Lb Halibut and my 35lb ling. Yes it was a blood bath with those two flopping on the deck and Shea flailing the Attitude Adjuster. Glad I wasn’t a fish out of water at that moment.

Thunder Elk’s family, Thunder is probably below deck sleeping or eating.

Thunder Elk laying on the deck sleeping.

A few of the smaller salmon caught.

Of course on a hot day you must stay hydrated!

Salmon belly Sashimi anyone? A guys got to eat right?

Chicken Halibut dragged from the depth at the Chicken Ranch....and yes I caught had to use two hands as mine was so much bigger!

Not bad for a morning’s work? Smallest Spring is 20lbs and the biggest is 38lbs.
20lbs
23lbs
38lbs
26lbs

Thanks once again to the gang at the GPSL.

It's the people who come to the Lodge that make it such a enjoyable experience for us.

It was our pleasure
Thanks for coming again

I still think you guys should come for that final trip. It will even give me a chance to be on the water!

See you next year at the Lodge!

Jamie

Thunder and I are really think about that last week but this damn thing called work is getting in the way. We will have to see when the rigs are moving and how the holes go. I know it would be a blast!
