How much more "Alberta" can you get?
From an old '70s newspaper clipping I came across...
To prove computers are human too, a city bank made an error in the computer and deposited $8,000 into a local cowboy’s account. This particular account had, a week prior, been standing at “nil”. The cowboy received his statement and learned of his unexpected windfall. He withdrew $5,000 from his account and left town for an enjoyable weekend in Calgary. One week later he returned home, broke. He told investigating officers, once his friends knew he had money they stopped drinking beer and started drinking whiskey. After his brush with the law, he made regular payments to the Bank.

Thinking it was more along the lines of "we have a windfall, lets spend it all and not plan for the future, at all". In recent times anyways...

Just recently a guy here was one of the top 5 richest on the planet, somehow a bunch of Billion dollars were deposited into his account.
I admit, if it was me and I found it on a late friday afternoon, I would clean out the bank and be in the Bahamahahahaha's

Happened to me once. Back in my paycheque-to-paycheque days.
Went to the bank and my balance was $18 ,000 and change.
I was thinking about it , but smart enough not to do it !
