Lesser Slave Lake....

Just thought i'd share this information with you guys.

Last night i went for a little drive to the northshore beach....

And yes I was standing on ice!! On Lesser Slave lake!!!! wooohooo.

not sure if it`s safe to be on....but next weekend i`ll let you guys know!

So? What's the update on Slave ice? Must be ready? Thanks for the info.

I'll bet someone drives through the ice between now and New Years though.

West basin of Slave has up to a foot of ice in most places now. The first shacks are already out with more to follow this weekend most likely. Looks like the hardwater season on the big lake is finally here!

Yup that's correct.

I heard of shacks going out at Joussard. Though there's nothing happening on the East end of the lake.

I'm not too sure where to fish next weekend. As i just bought a new Gas auger and my new flasher is on its way....

I did managed to get East of the area and drove to Smith and fished around there.

Lots of ice out that way.

Now where to fish this weekend....with this weather we are going to get this weekend will make it a good one.
