I wouldn't think so. Just picked up the summit 180 for 250 last night at wholesale.

I have the Lone Wolf hand climber and it is awesome but not the most comfortable. I picked up a on sale Summit Viper for the longer sits. I think it depends on how far in you're planning on hauling the stand, the further in you have to haul it the more the LW will be worth it, plus they're very quiet.

Do you mean not comfortable.... meaning the seat pad is thin?

I am really having a tough choice deciding between a climber or a hanger. The stratchcona properties i have permission ... could really call for either or.

Wink

Maybe.. but i have two ground blinds out on the properties already. Nothing wrong with adding spice to the game.

Besides... the one property is a wait till late season when the deer raid his grains etc by his opening between the trees. He offered to lift me up in the front end loader as a tree stand but i couldnt stop laughing. Apparently they are not afraid of the tractor. although im sure thats not legal.. safety would notbe at an all time high
