No bull elk pics yet??

Seems like a slow start, I remember last year the pics were coming in fast and furious right away.

I have a picture, someone texted it to me, its rumored to have been shot south of High Prairie, and its a beauty!! Just not sure if I should post it, not knowing the hunter or details or anything........

Looking forward to seeing some pics! ( cant wait til Sept 17th......)

I have been hearing bugles every morning and evening all week but they're not being very cooperative. My partner had one at 90 yards 2 nights ago but thats as close as he would come. We got 2 cows opening day, hopefully this weekend we have a bull to show off.

I've seen pics of sheepguides elk on Instagram and it was very nice. He got it on the opener.

We had a big 6x6 at 35yrds to nite with no shot! A buddy's 17 yr old kids first bow hunt! He was pumped!!!

Was on a really big bull a few days ago, snuck into 30-40 yards in his bedding area as he was screaming, chuckling and bugling back at me almost every time. Never made it to him so I backed out. He was in the same area that evening and the next morning but the wind was swirling or non existant so I opted to wait it out¸.

I've also heard my first primos terminator of the year...
