Default Ads on AO?

Is it just me, or are other folks seeing the odd word underlined like a link, which ends up being an ad?

Haven't seen that before but this computer I'm on isn't my normal laptop, either. Maybe it's the browser.

Just weird, haven't seen it before until the last couple days.

You picked up a Malware or Spyware re-direct virus. Down a malware/spyware anti-virus or AVG Free and clean them up. Should help you.
I had that a year or so ago. Annoying.

the virus that they have puts little tags all over every message that they see on their screen.

When you click on it, it sends you to an ad. When I had it my ads were for IRS and revenue canada

The free version of Malwarebytes should do the trick. http://www.malwarebytes.org
