Default Clarify wording for me please

On a recent stop at the crossroads farmers market I noticed a sign saying "wild alberta game meat".

So I stopped by to see what wild game meat the guy was selling.
Looking through his display (jerky and such) he only had beef.

When I asked what "wild game" did he have, he proceeded to say none because the cost of farm raised game was too cost prohibited.

false advertising?
Misleading?
How can you call it wild game if it is farm raised?

If he only has beef, then he can't claim anything. But of course alot of people wouldn't know the difference either. I don't recall seeing too many wild cows roaming around Alberta...

This one struck me funny too - bootleg taber corn...

Havent seen wild cows either........... maybe one of our cowboys can weigh in.

I personally felt that the sign I mentioned is rather misleading and possibly illegal
