Good point however IMO this was completely staged. I watch that show (I really like Marty!) and in one past episode this same fella supposedly came across a Trapper's cache of traps and miscellaneous items which he helped himself to.
In this episode he states, "I guess there's a trapline way out here." Do you think?

NOW, after helping himself to a Trapper's traps which he has no problem with, he doesn't want to take the wolf and put it up so it doesn't go to waste! How about leaving a note letting the Trapper know that he took the wolf because he thought that it was a forgotten snare and if it wasn't, come see him for the pelt?

There's a lot more to see in that video (ie fresh blood, fresh kill, extention hanging in tree with no snare) that would stick out to a Trapper and not a non-Trapper. I'm going to call baloney on this one and contribute it to a director trying to keep the show interesting.

And as he was leaving the scene, a scan from the air revealed snow covered tire tracks from a vehicle ..??? It is what it is, just set back by the fire and enjoy and not get our panties in a knot...

Problem with a tv show like this is they only say one side of the story . And they can dress it up how ever they want to .

Ps. This Morgan imo is the one who is irresponsible , have his horses surviving off of bark in a muskeg

Whoa there now, first off there is no edible tree bark in that swamp and if you view other videos, you will see some bailed hay.

Editing can hide evidence of the truth, can't it.

What makes you think that he's in the boonies? He could be 500 metres off a highway.....lol. I just watched Alaska: The Wild Frontier and after always thinking that they were in an isolated location the last episode showed that they were right off a highway complete with telephone poles! TV magic.
