Default Shrimp ring bait for trout.

Has anybody ever had much luck using shrimp for trout bait, and do you cook it first or just use it raw? Thanks.

For trout, you are better off enjoying a precooked shrimp ring with the dipping sauce.....then use a black/ green wooley bugger.

Totally. I am not giving those damn fish my shrimp ring. Especially when any self respecting trout will eat a worm, a cricket(or grasshopper), or a prince nymph.
