For all who call in, you might want to ask if the UCP will set up a Provincial Police Force, and if so, would the Provincial Police Force enforce the Federal Firearms Laws.

(Stock Answer is of course they have to)

Second Question you might want to ask is this: If the Citizens of Alberta do not agree with the imposition of unfair firearms laws that are a knee jerk reaction to the continued Criminal use of Firearms, would the UCP support a Referendum for Separation.

You see, Torontonians simply cannot explain the connection between Criminal Drug Gang shoot outs causing Civilian Casualties, and lawful peaceful ownership of firearms.

But that never stopped Ottawa from making more restrictive laws that do not address the real problem.

You don't call it in, they call you... So ask them yourself.

It's live, right now.

Scroll down the link and take a peek at the names on the firearms advisory committee. Calgary's former police chief Rick Hanson is on there, and I recall him being a lone voice of reason regarding the LGR years back. Also noteworthy is Phil Harnois, who owns P&D Firearms in Edmonton with his wife. Phil is also a former police officer, having served on Edmonton's Police dept. Notably, Phil is also a shooting victim, having taken a round (in the leg I believe) during a robbery attempt at his store. I think its a pretty interesting comparison when you observe the fact the Phil has taken a round and yet he does not blame firearms for it, surely he blames the offender. Notably, Phil has not become an anti-firearms advocate like so many others who have found ways to monetize & politicize the acts of violence that befell them.

Default Where was everyone ?

Sounds like only 300 people were logged in online out of a possible 1000. They did not mention how many people called in.

I posed a few questions regarding teaching hunter training / firearms safety in public education, relaxing wilderness carry of restricted firearms, and hunting with restricted firearms.

There is another session on the 27?, more participation would be nice.
