If you could have one sporting good indulgence
If you could have any sporting good indulgence that you cannot afford but had your pick of, what would that item be? Rifle, scope, whatever. For me I think it would be a set of top end bino's or a top end custom bench rifle.

Either a Garmin Livescope Setup or the best pop up shack money can buy. I’m interested in getting into pheasant hunting, so I’d add getting outfitted for that into there as well.
Man, I could go on and on

Great post. Maybe I should get it even though it’s too much money.
A 5g scope for long range.

No kidding, the maintenance cost of just one horse is crazy , especially up here, let alone a string of 'em!

Probably a new quad. I can afford it, but I can't justify it for my use.

Utv needed for my fly fishing trips. Come in handy on the ice too. Hopefully next June I’m buying one

You guys need to think much bigger; How about 10,000 acres of Texas Hill Country as your private hunting preserve?

a little cabin on my own section of land, that had river acces that I would only use for hunting/fishing and getting away for the weekend. Only good friends and a few good dogs would be invited.

Why LOTW, you would still have to compete with all of the other yahoos out there. If you are going to have a private fishing lodge, it may as well be in the middle of knowhere that only you can access.

Ken have you heard the 7marine news...... bummer, although I'll never have $100000 that I can justify on one outboard let alone everything west of the transom.
My indulgence would be a 37-42' Center Console..... and living somewhere I could use it.... perhaps a midlife crisis will see me leaving it all, waking up in central america as a "Captain"
