Hwy 101 is nice, spend some time in Astoria on the north west end of Oregon before you cut south, its an interesting place.

My project in Kitimat has been put off till who knows when. Might ship my product over then when its up and running and take a couple days with the wife, sister and BIL and make a road trip out of it. Hwy 16 there, then come back through Dawson.
My wife has basically commandeered my Virago, so i'll be upgrading, either a Silverado or Boulevard. My BIL rides a Vulcan, sister owns a Shadow.

2015 Sportster 72.

Not built for long trips, but if the camping season get shut down this summer we will be racking up lots of cruises in the city, as well as lots of day trips to
Longview, Brag Creek, Banff and where ever else.

I woke my bike up last weekend, just to hear it rumble a bit. No plans for a long ride yet.

So far I haven’t had to do anything besides oil changes. I need to do tires this year as well. When the announcement came out I picked up passenger pegs, a passenger backrest, and a storage cover for it. At the time I had no issues getting accessories.

Actually, the seat is very comfy. The range on the fuel tank is limiting though. 150 K's and you better be pulling into a gas station. I do have a small jerry can that fits on the luggage rack. Been suggested to change the tank, but it would completely change the look of the bike.

Your bikes are built for the road. Nice!

Default Sweet rides

Nice looking scoots. I've been toying getting one again, got rid of mine in '89. Just can't convince myself right now that I'd ride it enough to warrant the expense.

If you go on long trips share the ride with us.

X2! The victory is a sharp looking bike!

Some family members and I were planning a road trip to kalispell in the spring. I have a friend that lends me a Harley black line when ever I want and usually for as long as I want. Now that’s a friend! I owned a Harley Night Train years back and this black line would run circles around the night train hands down raw power.

The wife and I were planning a trip down the Sunshine Coast in May but that dream is gone now. I’ve actually been planning the trip for years and was so excited. Live to fight another day I guess.

Sam I have the exact bike!! Mine a ' 12, and in a 106 ci
I put a crash bar on it, and hiway pegs.

What a fun ride. My son has a highball, whitewall tires, backrest, sweet ride as well. A few of my buds have bikes as well, we normally cruise after work, hit wing nights, nothin too serious, just blows our hair back.. Lol

Hopefully the old man and I will be doing our trip down to Redlodge again this year. The Beartooth is a great ride.

Mine is the Red 06 Fatboy.

Up until the economy went into the toilet, I was hoping to rebuild her... https://images.app.goo.gl/paZoGdKxKuMWiGMU6

1991 Suzuki GSXR 1100.

Still looks like the stock photo above, just now with a decades worth of dust. Only 33K kms on her, and last time I rode her, she still managed to get up and go with the younger ones....

Damn! I miss that bike.

Nice looking rides there everyone.

It's definitely getting to be that time of year!!

Some great rides here, hope you all get many miles on this year.

I have two 7-10 day rides planned for the summer, I'm growing more and more concerned about whether or not they will happen, unlikely I'm afraid.

Regardless, I hope to get in lots of day rides on the old girl, 1995 Ultra Classic.

About a month ago I got my bike all cleaned up, wired on a 6” light bar, cut the front fender off and replaced the fuel tank with a Clark Tank. It’s a 1993 Yamaha XT350, love that bike. I enjoy banging it up in the trails more then on the road, but road riding is still soothing.

My bike didn't get ridden much the last two years, due to some issues with my back, but now that my back is feeling good, I will get a service, and I will put some more miles on it. I ride a 2007 BMW R1200ST, that I bought to replace my Harley, and it has been great for touring all over western Canada and the USA. I prefer the lighter, better handling sport touring bikes, over the much heavier, not so great handling, touring or cruising bikes.

1999 BMW K1200RS. Planned trip to Oregon and northern California in July with a bunch of guys. Probably won't happen now. I might go solo in September if I can afford it.

Hahaha! That's a great story and memory. I can certainly understand where you might have been a bit intimidated to start with. Forest Gump's mama was right, life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what you're gonna get.
