Default little girl missing at Sunridge Mall for more than 5 hours now

A little girl went missing today at Sunridge Mall in Calgary around 1pm. The exits were covered and the police showed up 2 hrs later. No pics or much of a discription was produced. As of this time....she is still missing. Does anyone know more than this?

I am suprised this doesn't happen more often. Kids are running around all over the mall, Woman see's something shiny or blinky an enters a trance and her kid wonders off.

You could easily pick up a child, say "They you are, we are going home!", Kid starts crying all you have to say is " Your acting up, behave yourself" and people will assume its your child. Easiest day to take a child.

Let's pray for her safe return. I'd sure like to get into the head of these child abductors and molesters...figuratively speaking of course, with a sharp tool, blunt object will do as well.

Lets not jump to conclusions. Hopefully she just wandered off and got lost and is still in the mall.

You are assuming that it's true. Nothing in the news.

Neither CBC Calgary or CTV Calgary are carrying the story on their internet feeds. Story a hoax?

haha....ya cause if it aint on the news...there is no way it can be true eh? Keep watching the news and reading the internet to fill ur head with the information of the world. These are the only real true threads of truth hahha.

It's no joke or hoax....my friend works at the mall and told me. But then she's not a local news reporter....so she must be lying. It's common knowledge that news reporters are first on a scene and report to the public immediately. I can see clearly now that ignorance is definitely prevelent in our society for sure.

Anyway...my prayers are out to her and family.
Hopefully by now she's safe

Because I looked at the situation logically and unbiased? Thats the problem here, Anytime there is a real life incident you guys all bring emotion into it and don't look at it with an unbiased opinion.

I and my girlfriend agree....It just seems to easy these days and it's been proven scientifically that the public mostly don't like to get involved in a situation. People have become brain numbed.

The media don't wait for permission to post things.
They pull information off scanners. Why do you think they manage to show up so darn quickly when there is an issue?

Have a feeling this is nothing but a hoax.
If a child was missing - abducted from a mall there would have been an amber alert issued.

This should be made illegal and they should be severly charged.

No, because you have too many posts about stealing children.

I'm just joking. But if the offer is on the table, the wife and I could stand to go to a movie on Saturday.
