Sad to think that someone would do that to a dog (acid burns, etc.) ... or any animal, for that matter. But sadly, we know it happens. One of the items on my ''Bucket List" is to catch someone in the act.

'Hats Off' to you Canuck for taking in so many adoptees! We do the same, but because of our limited space, we can only do one or two at a time.

Default The boys...

Big one is Remi and little one is Ruger. This is from the spring so Ruger is about 50lbs bigger now. My best buds... except for the repeated attacks on the Christmas lights extension cord. Never chewed a cord before now, and having it plugged in didn't even slow Ruger down, the plug is always pulled out.

This was taken a little while ago, we had been feeding the cows and came across 6/7 coyotes, 1 or 2 coyotes got away...... and they dined on steak for supper!

Here's a pic of my lab, shelby. Playing with one of her favorite toys, my gloves lol. Can't leave gloves anywhere, not even in your back pockets or she will have em.

We have a black lab. When we got her, we figured she would be a pure bread looking lab, like Diver's "Duke".

But soon she grew out of her puppy fur, and morphed into a lab/collie cross. I think she may have some border collie in her. Smart as anything, and with the family traits of a lab. She had a rough start in life. Hit by a truck at 6 months old, she had both jaws shattered, skull fractured, nose broken and lost many teeth as well as I think her sense of smell is very limited. Snores like a freight train.

But she recovered (after around $7,000 in surgeries) and is one of our "children" now.

This is Jesse. I found him while working near Glechien in pretty rough shape about 4 years ago. Full of worms and an infected wound on his neck. He rides with me everyday at work. Tons of energy and springs for legs. We figure hes got some lab and collie in him.

Good job.. Last year we brought home a black lab from the shelter and she turned out to be amazing. Someone had dropped her off and said they couldn't keep her anymore. Two nights ago I put her out in the yard and she shot off like an arrow. Brought me back a nice sized rabbit. Gotta love it.

Default love the dags

Albertadiver, love the intensity of the dog with the food on its head. That is the ultimate test for a lab, weighing the approval of you over a free delicious snack. My boys don't care as much about my approval, apparently...

Coming home from deer camp, I joked with my uncle, how long it would take my boys to find, and pull the junk off my WT carcass after covertly depositing it on the back 40 when I got home. Those 2 buggers were fighting over a mouthfull of deer junk within an hour of me getting home... do they have no morals!? I suppose dogs will be dogs... no kisses for the kids for a day or 2.

Great pics of everyones buds... I am probably not the only one who wants to come back as a black lab.
