Default Las Vegas fishing

Heading down to Vegas at the end of the month any good tips would be greatly appreciated. I’ve heard lake mead is good for large mouth bass I would like to catch some bass.

Missed out again but Google guides and go for it....I ended up in the arena watching knight kick azz twice in one week......next time it's off to the lake.

I was in Vegas 2 years ago and did try lake Mead. Ended up catching some catfish there with a pickeral rig.

My advice would be to fish off one of the big rock points. In the evening right as it gets dark there were stripped bass everywhere even within a few feet of shore. You can see them swimming just under the surface sometimes. And they get pretty big too, saw some that were in the 20-30lb range but they didn't seem interested in any lures. Caught one little guy on a silver castmaster

Also at sunrise in the bays, the water was boiling with what I'm guessing were carp surface feeding, never caught what was jumping so much though.

In general I would recommend and outcrops where it's deep and right around sunrise/sunset.

Hope that helps
