Default Looking for Vortex 1800 Range finder

Im looking for a gift for my brother, just wondering if anyone has seen the Vortex Ranger 1800 Rangefinder cheaper than $549? That seems to be the lowest I can find it.
Pretty stuck on Vortex at the moment, I have a Nikon stabilized which is great but I want to get something with the lifetime warranty.
Thanks Gentlemen and Ladies

You spelt Leica wrong. Forget the warranty your going to “need” with vortex and buy the correct rangefinder the first time. FYI they’ve got an excellent warranty as well but you wouldn’t know about it because none of us ever use it.

Exactly. My Leica range finder has worked flawless since the day I bought it and on highly reflective targets have ranged over 1700yards.

Thanks, was kinda afraid this would turn into a brand bashing.
Leica, great product I am sure. Not what I'm looking for at this time. Gave up Gucci brand shopping in my 20's.
Until the "big names" start standing behind their expensive toys with realistic warranties, I'm not going to support them. I know what has worked for me. Sorry you appeared to have been burned.

Vortex has a pretty tight MAP policy. You won't see for less than $549.
