First Lake Whitefish on Fly for Ann

AO member Ann ask for tips on Jasper fishing

so I told her but when you take a person they really learn

come to Talbot with me I asked

5am though .... meet you at the boat launch was her answer

Whitefish were all around us

only a few took a runs at our hooks

Ann had one hit but the hook set missed

i had one hit so i pasted her the rod

Bam .. its on side way run with a couple dive's into mud bottom

Ann stayed with it and turned it as it headed for weeds

few minutes later she lead it too the net

she added a check on fighting Lake Whitefish in Alberta

Lake Whitefish on the fly is Wild!!!

3#14 not bad size

F18 Hornet did fly bye at 11.31am

Thanks David for sharing. That is a nice lake white. It probably given a wild fight on the fly. Always enjoy your post and also teaching others is proving you are excellent
