If a lake holds decent fish it is a good lake to kayak fish imo.

I bought a kayak a couple years ago I love taking it to the trout ponds to target them in the deeper areas on hot summer days. They're great for the ponds that don't allow gas motors.

Thanks! What do you usually find works for the rainbows? I've been catching quite a few on a little Len Thompson five of diamonds

Have you been getting out much with the kayak? My kids bought me a pelican castaway for Father's Day. (Two years ago they bought me a float tube; I wonder what I'll get two years from now!!!).@

I'm on holidays for three weeks, and trying to get in as much water time as possible. So far I've been to the Legal reservoir, Ashland reservoir, Wabumun, Hubbles Lake, Muir Lake, Cardiff pond, and jackfish lake. Tomorrow I'm spending the day at Lac St Anne, and may pop in to Wabumun and Muir Lake on the way home.

So much fun, and I love it more than the float tube.

Brian

I've only been out on the fort sask pond with it so far because I live up the street from it but I'm looking for some lakes to go to. Thinking hanmore or chump maybe.
