That's a truly heartwarming story. Too bad he shot himself in the leg, now there's gonna be a trial, with requisite Glaudeau report, smudging ceremony and healing lodge. All on the taxpayer's dime of course. Wanna bet it's not his first brush with the law due to criminal behavior?

We need stricter gun laws obviously?

He's probably a big wheel where he is from.

The young man was lucky he chose such a nice person to kidnap. I would have watched him die then called the cops.

It would be understandable to go into shock after being carjacked at gunpoint, and then having a shotgun go off in the vehicle. It would probably take me an hour or two to recover enough to call the police.
