Ive caught a ton of rainbows here and a few perch so I guess my goal would be to find some good lakes within 2 hrs of Calgary that I could take a kayak or my pontoon boat on. And get out alot more, Havnt been fishing out here in 2 yrs.

Finish off my last two albertan trout before I turn eighteen in a few years; Quebec Red Trout and Golden Trout.

Keep hiking into alpine lakes.

Learn how to use the new Sonar and GPS to get myself into more fish!
Complete rigging my Yak.
Land 20+ lb Pike from my Yak.
Help the wife land her first fish from her Yak.
Teach our twin boys how to paddle and fish from the Yaks.

Yak, Yak, Yak

I don't get out nearly as often as I'd like, so if there are any other Yak-ers out there who want some company, don't hesitate to drop my a PM.

Spend more time fishing... as in the rod/tackle don't leave my car UNLESS I'm fishing... and maybe take more 'sick' days!

Would love to pull a trout from the Bow, still have to land something from a river...

Place in the top 10 of all 4 SAWT tourneys.
Head out to some unknown waters that hold monster brown trout and take them on the fly
Hike into a few remote lakes with the belly boat and fly rod
Catch a few decent sized sturgeon out of the oldman right in city limits
hook into some monster cutties on dry flies
Fish the hell out of bullshead and police
Get out on the new boat and catch as many fish as possible and have fun the whole time i'm doing it.

And last but not least, pull a 30+" out of an untalked about rainbow trout river that I fish quite a bit.

for myself i was watching a british fishing show that did a 30 day challenge and i would like to try this challenge. its you have 30 days to catch every game species where ever you live in my case alberta. i have caught every game species in alberta except the golden trout and grayling. i think i will try and do this challenge on open water and maybe during ice season too. second would be try and get some more boating experience in before my annual sturgeon trip.

Catch a friggin' sturgeon. Finally.

If I have the time, try to find a 30 lb pike. More realistically, catch some big walleye.

First up for me is that I am going to learn how to fly fish! I have already registered for the middle of May

Next up is to try and get a DAMN 30# Salmon. I know I can do it this time.

Then I wouldnt mind going after Coho with a Fly rod... But that might be next year land.

2010

-Learn to fish Beaver Dam Flats since its in my backyard now
-Hopefully going to get a decent inflatable boat with a trolling motor. I fear water skiiers rocking those little things but I doubt it will be that bad.
-Learn to fish flys with spin cast tackle...Not going to be able to afford fly fishing tackle again this year if i get the boat
-Catch something epic of course...I think my biggest fish is 6lbs pike I caught in the bow. Caught my first brown that day too. That was the last fish I caught out of the Bow too in 2 years...
-Catch more fish out of the Bow!
