Default Windy Saturday

Got out in the morning, wind was howling so hard it blew my heavy chair over when I stood up. lots of times! Caught about 20 suckers including my biggest, about 12 pounds! Man do they ever scrap! Decided to change rivers afer lunch, and explore, explore, explored 10 more suckers, 2 varieties this time, and 3 sturgeon . first was an already tagged 30 incher, then my best so far this season, crazy fighting 51 incher. Then the best fight of the day, a fat 45 incher on the light rod, what a blast! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdDqb...ature=youtu.be
heading back for another go right now .

Was out on the river in that wind yesterday too, the anchors were holding the boat from blowing up river against the current, had to put the drift sock out to control this. Managed to hook 3 small sturgeon and some walleye and one gold eye. Wind went down in the afternoon and got really nice out but the fish seemed to quit biting. Nice to be back out on the river though.
