Default BC Bassin

Anyone venture to BC for bass? If so, where have you had the best luck? I'm looking to plan a trip for some soon.

Thanks for any info!

Have only been to Christina lake in the SE for bass in the summers, but have had great luck every time, on the fly and spinning. Some very good sized ones there as well.

Fished Tie and Duck Lake in the past with good results. Better Luck at tie Lake for me and ive only ever Fished it twice and duck Once So i cant give much info. Tie Gets stupid Busy Boat traffic in the summer but is Not so busy early on in the year. I like them Both.. Nice if you have a small boat for those lakes. Duck lake is a no motor IIRC.

Ill be headind to BC for some fishing within the next few weeks, Not sure where yet but i will stop and check those lakes out either on my way in or out.

I have only ever fished for bass in Baines Lake. They were everywhere in the lily pads. I have heard that they are in some lakes on Vancouver Island so when I am there in July I will see if I can catch any.

I've had great luck at Duck. Big bass and tons of perch. Canoe works best.

Cool go west .

Near duck lake there is a trestle train bridge . Goggle map will help you find it. Good bass to be had. The rest of the lake fishes well also. If you have a boat the west arm has a few big ones if you can find them and keep the squawk fish off.
