Thinking of trying it out for my new Encore. I have heard good things about it. Any body have any info?? What about ammo availability?? As far as I know Hornady is the only manufacturer. Thanks
I have a feeling that it won't be very popular, at least north of the border. It sounds like a great round, but it seems like it takes anything new about a year to appear in Canada.
Mr. Mellon, backyard ballistics has one doesn't he? I saw a brief rundown on Wild TV about it and they had rave reviews for it. Same performance as the 30-06 but in a much shorter case. It looked cool but I'm sticking with my .270 for now. Come on 649!
