this would be a great excuse for a meet and greet for all of us ao guys! and maybe they should take pledges like "walk for cancer" people do. the money could go to a deserving charity. since it's pigeon lake maybe they should fish from shore, just to make it a challange, that way we could get in close and cheer them on...heh-heh...and i've got dibs on the t-shirt concession!!

Make sure 'Slinger stays home though. Having to tow him in again could cut into the competition time allotment!

How about this idea? The winner gets to pic the avatar the loser displays for a period of 1 month. Nearing the time of the competition, a seprate thread could be started for other members to post up a variety of pics the winner gets to choose from.

Treeguy, for a Stihl guy, I have to admit now that is a good idea. Obviously a Husqvarna guy gave you that great idea!

That is too funny I think something like this might be appropriate with their face photoshopped into it.
By the way the guy's face in this picture is a hunter and a fisherman that I know well. Another buddy of his photoshopped into this picture. To say that he was a little pi$$ed off is putting it mildly.
I suppose we'll find out just how confident these guys are?
So ya feel lucky? Well do ya?

I have an idea to make this a better match of skill....make it an artificial bait only contest. What do you think of that as more of a challenge?

I can't believe no one else has said anything about this. I think it's a great idea to sponsor them for charity. $0.10 per inch caught, or $5.00 a fish or something. Money goes to the charity of the winner's choosing.

think about it "fish for the cure" it's never been done and the public would eat it up, and these two sportsmen are just colorful enough to pull it off!

Ive got 2 huge cooking grills.....we could get folk to bring something to add to the meal and make it a day of food and fun. If we let the winner decide were any money raised goes to his charity of choice, that would be awesome.
