Default CIL Anschutz .22 model 310

I just inherited a .22 SLLR CIL Anschutz Model 310.

I am looking for information and opinions of this gun. Value, history, where to get a clip for it?

Thanks for your help.

Value in vg+ condition is $300. Excellent should bring $425

As for a magazine, aftermarket ones at Western Gun Parts are about $79.00

Excellent plinker, I have had several of them.

Very accurate .22 sporting rifles with 64 Anschutz action and adjustable trigger.
C.I.L. sold them in the the late 60's, early 70's.

Default CIL 310 = Weatherby Anschutz

Weatherby now does what CIL did in the 60s-70s: sell an Anschutz 64 action/trigger and barrel set in a very nice wood hunter stock. This rifle is dimensionally 99.8% what the old CIL 310 is.

I own the CIL and a friend the Weatherby. Having shot both I'd say they perform very well as top-end hunter/plinkers and excellent metallic silhouette hunter class rifle. Find out what ammo your CIL likes best. Mine thrives on Wolf Match MT, and likes Lapua Club, Eley Practice, and PMC Target. It also does surprisingly well with 36gr HP 500ct bulk Winchester ammo as sold by Canadian Tire.

All this to day that the Weatherby mags are Anschutz mags with a Weatherby-logoed plastic bottom cover. The Savage mags that Brownells sells as Anschutz equivalent are finicky to latch in my rifle, and these come without the plastic baseplate.

I was told my anschutz is worth more than that, it's also a 310 with a monte carlo stock

I've seen listings for sale as high as $800. $500 is common asking price.

For the sake of curiousity I would slide that scope off and see what model it is, it should say under the front mount. Both my 310s and a 180 look different.

Thumbs up Cil 310

I collect 22 rimfires and have a couple of them, they shoot well with the right ammo, they are worth $300 - $400 depending on condition. If they are worth $900 i will give some one a heck of a deal 2 for $900 and I'll pay the shipping.
