Default UFA Cardlock price

Just received my update on cardlock prices for the province, for August 10 - 17Westlock is as follows;
Gas clr 99.89
Gas dyed 90.89
Diesel clr 81.39
Diesel dyed 72.39

Most stations in the area are at 109.9 for clear gas and 96.9 - 99.9 for clear diesel, 10 cent spread on clear gas and minimum 15.6 cent spread on clear diesel.

I have never seen a price difference like this before and indeed the consumer is being gouged.

How does one find the current cardlock pricing at any particular location?

Do the prices you show include GST? On our statements from Petro Canada, the prices shown are without GST and the GST gets charged on the total sales then added to the invoice.

I think that you can have them emailed to you or you can stop at any location and ask them to look up your price. Also ask them to make sure that you are set up on a discount.

You need to become a customer....with cards....and credit....
Pricing will be provided by the supplier. It will be your price which may differ from the other guys price.

I am a UFA member but have never bothered to go to the trouble of getting a card lock account set up. Are you saying I can now use the pumps and use my Visa to pay. Also, do you actually need to be a UFA member or can anyone now use the pumps?

To use the visa / mastercard /debit option you need to sign up for a "fuel link card" which allows you to use their pumps 24 hours a day. This will give you a membership number if you don't already have one. Just stop in to any cardlock location or call their cardlock number and have them send you a fuel link card.

i have had a fuel link card for 10+ years, but have never been able to get pricing before or after making a purchase - only when the transaction went on my card statement did I know how much I paid - and sometimes it was more than the "pump" price 10 ft. away.
