Default Hunting bans in Poland

Could be the first of them, there are EU rulers who want it done in other countries as well. Be careful what kind of gov't you wish for. They passed it today.

Stop spreading propaganda. They're propositions, not actually put into effect. Kind of like the gun talk here in Canada. I agree laws are stupid there, but tree huggers always win. Did you know a .22 is banned in Poland but a 1550 fps air gun is not? Oh and no liicense to purchase a pellet gun unlike here you need a PAL for.

One of the proposals is actually a good idea, that is giving landdowners the choice to not allow public hunting on their property.

I will have to talk to my family in Poland and ask them about the regs if they changed or not.

All these talks are seriously freaking me out. I used to think it would be like these when I have grand kids but no I'm thinking in the next 10 years here in BC if not before.

I usually just lurk this forum to read the hunting stories and look at pictures but this is not propaganda and has a lot of hunters concerned in Europe. The European hunting association has a statement in English about this as well:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It can happen anywhere. Those of you who still insist it can’t happen here in Canada are asleep. There are a good many folks who would like nothing more than to strip us of our rights to hunt or do anything else, for that matter, in the backcountry.
