Forget about the LAFF's, how are the Flames doing with that juggernaut team called the Sens' ( you know the easy gimmee points ??)

Well I am sure they will be saying all the same things, in the post game interviews, so no need to listen to them, as we have all heard it many times. If the many road games is to blame, then hopefully a couple days off helps, but I doubt it. Man these 1 goal games are driving me crazy. How 6 one night 1 the next. Murray was on his game yester to be fair, but still not enough Tough shots..

If this doesn't change your mind, I don't know what will....

"First, we have defenceman Juuso Valimaki and goaltender David Rittich just unnecessarily bumping into each other and carrying on with their respective days. Then, the camera ever-so-subtly spots Milan Lucic taking a seat in the corner after catching a rut and bailing head-first into the boards.

Rasmus Andersson and Nikita Nesterov then brainlessly collided in the neutral zone, with both hitting the deck and landing in a pile of mildly scattered pucks, before a scary incident capped a nightmarish 12-minute stretch for Calgary with Johnny Gaudreau launching a careless backhander straight into the face of bucketless linemate Sean Monahan, who was shaken up and had to leave the ice."

That was warmup!

I suspect next game they'll show up, play like the world's on fire and win 4-1, then get completly destroyed by the Oilers.

Considering we only show up for every 2nd game, this sounds about right.

You forgot Ray Edwards almost doing a face plant as he tripped on the way out to the players bench.

I figured I was watching the worst team in the NHL.. I was right.. Unfortunately they were wearing the wrong uniforms.....

I love this organization.. But this specific team has a MASSIVE issue or ISSUES.. I find the frustrating part is that the nature of this Covid season has hands tied.. Cant really trade with a 2 week lock down, Cant trade in Canada as it would be death this year, Cant fire a coach as who lives in Canada that wants the job? Cant really fire a GM mid season as the same applies and it's just not a great idea.

Sighhhhhhhhh

If they don’t get er on track soon and I mean really soon they may find themselves sellers at the deadline.

That may not be all bad as I think the Flames could use a bit of a retool. Don’t think you need to blow the whole thing up just move out a few guys and replace with new life.

I still think one of the coach or GM has got to go and the sooner the better. I think Treliving gets one more crack at a coach before he packs his office. He gets a Mulligan on Peters.

A few good coaches out there right now.

This has always been the issue in the past years...MOVE A FEW GUYS OUT and has not worked yet....Need more than this and get a new culture in the dressing room.

Something smells real bad, We finally pony up for our best goalie since kipper and we have no soul. Between bad peewee passes, fly by checking and more turnovers than a bakery. Add in Bennett's pouting ( how do you do that when you make over a mil a year to play a game), Tkchuck showing up now and then and then whine to your team when they don't follow you into battle for every perceived slight you bring on and the obvious death knell of not caring about each other. ARRRRRGH...and I am normally a positive guy...Maybe it's time for another Sutter intervention....out

Tkachuk would be the last guy to blame right now!

You have Johhny and Monahon that play with zero emotion...Like they could care less they are playing a game they love. we have some 3rd and 4th liners that should be on the farm team. Backlund is not playing to his potential as usual and Mangi was missing in action last game, eventhough he has been the hardest working Flame so far. Looch...Not sure what to say but he has been sort of productive this season and actually gives a ****. Gio is far from himself, but he is 37 years old and expect him to slow down, but as a captain, his voice should be heard and doesn't seem to be working. Time for a new captain? BUT WHO is going to speak up in that dressing room?

Thoughts?

Listening to Fan 960 this morning Rhett was suggesting they should maybe look up the hiway. One of the hardest assed coaches just sitting on his farm right now may be an answer. As much as it sounds way out there he might be right. As he suggested he would come into the room and bust the door down to get started. Tell them if they were not going to work and be part of this to out your boots on and watch from upstairs. It would have to be a shorter term as todays ***** players would eventually turn him off but short term it may be a good suggestion.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Sutter come in for the remainder of the season.

Which one, Brian, Brent, Darryl? We've had them all at one time or another.

I'm guessing you're thinking Darryl?

There is no way Darryl is going to take another coaching job. He is enjoying retirement too much...

Guess who is sitting in PEI waiting for a coaching job? Turkey would bring some emotion to the room.

Who's that?

Will never happen, but I'd like to see what would happen if they brought in Babcock!

Would have liked Laviolette during the off-season. Since that's gone, and Galant is out there, I would like to see a proven successful coach get brought in. Not going to happen, but would like to see it. New coach is fine, but the guys on the ice are the ones not scoring and having more giveaways and turnovers than I use to see when my son played minor hockey. We need goals in the worst way.

Babs is available. Next best thing to a hard arse Sutter brother.

Poor lil Johnny’s head would be just a whirling.

And if he can’t get em on track he can show em how to tank to get the #1 pick !!

Yup he did, because the Leafs are still paying him for those 2 years he's giving back to his old community

He probably the only NHL caliber coach in Canada right now available unless you want Hitchcock.

Why would you think Gerard Gallant wouldn't want to coach in a Canadian market? I think Calgary might need to do a little digging on the history of his GM relationships as he was fired from his last to coaching jobs on a winning record.

But he is a coach that knows how to win and definitely gets the best out of his players.

Claude Julian might still be in Canada.. but I think he gets big $$.
Travis green might be available soon.
I would prefer Darryl for the rest of the season, then look for a big fish.
