Default fly fishing

Hi, going flyfishing tommorow to blood indian. What are a couple types of flys that would be a good bet for this time of year.(im just learning) Thanks..

I've found that leach / wooly bugger patterns work very well in the fall. Other ones to try might be back swimmers / water boatmen, plus pheasant tail nymphs or gold ribbed hair's ear patterns. I'd start with the leach pattern at a slow retrieve and see what happens first.
