Default Skunked at Shunda

WEll, went to Shunda Saturday for "the last trip of the year" and boy did we get skunked. I only saw one fish follow and all the holes that produced in the past turned of a big fat zero, even the hole that always has foam in it, those who know Shunda know where that is. We went as far as we could until the trail deteriorated and there were so many blown downs that fishing was very hard. We were tossing spinners and not one single flash or follow, fished last year around mid october and managed 6 that would push the 1.5-2 pound mark. Has anyone met with similar success, we started at Harlech campground and walked at least 3-4 miles. Plus my buddy wiped out crossing a small stream that enters the Shunda almost breaking his leg, he's 220 lbs and I'm 150 lbs, like I could've carried him out.

Maybe I'll hit Tay River before packing the gear away before winter........

Aren't the browns more into spawning now than food?
