When I was on trapline I used a Rossi pump it was a nickel plated short barrelled .22 that shot shorts longs, long rifles I really liked it.

Ok. Good to hear others aren't having problems with the hot shot. I should get around to sending it in for warranty work. I just kind of got disgusted with it.

Default .22 mag "light" loads?

Is there such a thing as a .22 magnum round that is "light" loaded that might make that round more versatile for both dispatch and with normal loads it would be a suitable gun for longer shots? Or is that a no-no on a rimfire? I don't know.
