Default Muskrat Houses

Walk up to it slowly ,may have to wait if you scared them out.Hit house listen for a slash in water either you broke through the ice or there was a muskrat in the house.

I was in the most part joking when you hit the house you hear a muskrat going in the water with a slash or you fall through the ice surrounding the hut, understand now.

I use a length of metal rod. Push it through th top in a couple of places. You will be able to find water. If frozen you will know it as it will be very solid.
