Default Prospectors tent set up on lake

Hi guys I'm planning on setting up my 14x16 Prospectors tent on the lake for family day weekend to spend the weekend in.my only concern is if all snow will melt on the ice and be a puddle of water in there.i was thinking of putting Balsam branches down on ice.any help would be great.my wife is coming so better I can make it the less whining I'll have to hear lol

Put a piece of plywood under the wood stove. Another thing we do is drill a hole or two behind the stove but not all the way through the ice. That works great until they fill with water.

Bring pallets to raise your floor up and then raise your stove up about 1-2 feet that’s what we have done in the past.

Default Tenting

My only problem is where I'm setting up is a 15 mile skidoo ride so hauling pallets is no option.
