Default 402 snow?

Time to hang the bow! Heading to 402 Saturday for elk or whitetail. Anyone know what the snow levels/access is like? Are the elk moving down or are they still a ways up?

Heading back in past Dutch creek this weekend. Planning to get up real high in the hills well before first light and glass the heck out of the place. Any tips for this time of year?

Was out in 402 all day yesterday. We covered a tonne of Ground from high elevation. Saw one mule deer.... no elk to be seen (maybe they are down in the valleys, or migrated over to Bob Creek??

No white tail either down low which was odd.

Ahh well, we had an awesome day exploring the area. Road conditions are bone dry and backcountry trails are wet and muddy but decent a quad. Snow in north face locations, but otherwise pretty dry (even up top).
