Post Where to start

Hey guys I haven't takin my bow out hunting since I moved to Alberta a few years ago, but I've kept up my shooting. My question is what would be your go to hunt after a few years break? Thanks!

Rabbits, Coyotes, and Grouse. Get used to field judging distances (along with a range finder). Then move onto big game, Elk, Moose, then Deer, in order of the rut.

I live in Calgary but it's been years since I hunted bear might be fun, just gotta figure out where to start I guess.

Where did you come from and what did you hunt there ?
Before you moved to AB.
Why did you relocate here ?

Not to meaning to seem on defense just asking questions like you.

Small bit of background might go a long way to ease into things.

Find a hunk of crown land that allows you to bow hunt starting in sept then recce the area out all summer, look at old sign etc from previous years for deer then set up accordingly.
