6.5 Creedmoor? The aura is enough to kill.

So you better hit were you are aiming---In this case the head presented a shot---no meat spoiled--Hunting situation are many,Time on the range and ethics go hand in hand.

Actually--I never recovered a bullet from a yote--The hutherite trappers do the skinning.I help skin around 300 black bears and 80 or so moose.I did recover many bullets and broadheads--

Wow I can not believe the amount of BS in the thread. Is it too late to nominate coyoteman for the "Most BS of the Year" award?

Coyoteman, as for inviting people into your Toonie Club. it is in fact illegal to deface Canadian currency

Quote:
11 (1) No person shall, except in accordance with a licence granted by the Minister, melt down, break up or use otherwise than as currency any coin that is current and legal tender in Canada.

Marginal note:Offence and punishment

(2) Every person who contravenes subsection (1) or any condition attached to a licence referred to in that subsection is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months or to both, and, in addition to any fine or imprisonment imposed, the court may order that the articles by means of or in relation to which the offence was committed be forfeited to Her Majesty.
Quote:
Defacing current coins

456 Every one who

(a) defaces a current coin, or

(b) utters a current coin that has been defaced,

is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
Mods, surely openly asking other members to partake in illegal activities is mean for an immediate time out or banning is it not?

He’s already been schooled on the defacing currency issue.
That’s why he’s yammering on about drawing the circles now.
Yes the OP is an annoying and probably a troll.
Hit the red triangle to report him if you feel he’s crossed any lines or rules.
Other than that just ignore him he will likely go away, if we keep feeding trolls they thrive.

What’s entertaining about a guy who makes poor shots and tries turning it into good marksmanship? Nothing but a pile of BS...

No that's the super annoying part where it gets my blood pressure up.
The BS stories are what I find mildly entertaining.

But trust me I have been biting my tongue a lot...

Personally I hate the head shots, spine shots...
I quit hunting with guys who do that. Too much can go wrong.
I practice a lot, and think I am good. But wont take a shot I am not 100% sure of. Have eaten my share of tag soup because of it, but am happy with that. Had to use more then one shot a few years ago... still haunts me. 1 bullet, 1 animal no exceptions. No of course a "finisher" is needed. That's crap.

Default finishing shot not always required

The deer I have spine shot (not intentionally) went down with no follow up shot required.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t you actually have to hit the CENTER of the toonie to become a member of the club?

I don’t think he’s a member yet

This is true, even tho not intentional. I have dropped more moose on the spot than deer. Next to nothing when it comes to damaged meat. I do not enjoy seeing an animal suffer.

It is encouraged to make a shot that will cause the animal to suffer the least. As a hunter it is your job to make sure animals die a quick and painless death. It is a living creature and deserves the respect. If you are going to take its life it should be done in a manner that kills it the quickest. Mistake shots do happen but no animal deserves to suffer if preventable.
