Default Odd Names

Was talking to a friend today about odd Names.

Had a doc with the name Dr. P. Brain
She was an OBGYN

Had a friend who had the maiden name of Pantyshack and when she married she hyphenated her name..... so she ended up being Mrs Pantyshack-Outhouse

Do you have some odd names to add.

My father has had two friends named "Harold Dick." The only reasonable explanation that I can think of is that slang has changed considerably since boys were being named in the '40s.

Travelling through NW Africa many years ago I met this brit who'd sold everything he owned and bought a motorcycle. His goal was to ride from the UK to South Africa. Well, the first time I met him was in a bar and he was absolutely wasted, with a lady on each arm and a table full of drinks in front of him. Introductions were made and it turns out he went by the name R.J., short for Ramjam Delilah Funkyboogaloo Smythe. He made sure to emphasize that it was Smythe with a "wth' and not an "i". Even showed me his passport to prove it! A few drinks later we left him to his evening of drunken debauchery and we hit the road.

Met up with him a couple more times over the next few weeks as we worked our way through Morocco. He was always smiling and having the time of his life! Then saw him one last time looking a lot worse for wear. He'd tired of crashing his bike in the desert and was probably almost broke. He was selling the bike and heading for home. That was the last I saw of Ramjam.

He was in the military... I met him here in Edmonton about 15 years ago.

I also met a guy named William Bill.... Bill Bill, one named Sergeant Major and one named Major Minor.
And finally... I know one young fella whose parents were Austin Powers fans.
His middle name is....Danger.

Maybe... He was Medical Branch...he'd be about 60 now I guess.
I always thought it was a joke until a pal introduced him.
I had a hard time not asking but... I have a pretty funny first name myself and figured he'd probably had enough of that.

Default Harry hole

There is an older fellow who owns a water taxi business in Coal Harbour BC. His name is actually Harry Hole. His wife's name is Patrica. They call her Mrs. P Hole. I was told they were on Jay Leno or Letterman show for people with weird names.

You think that's a tough phone-answering name?
I knew a guy called Mike Sass.
And how about Regina, Sasks' Dick Assman!
The defense rests...

In Legal there was an uber-hot female doctor by the name of Dr Shafter, and I'm sure many farmers feigned injury just to see her. Be awful if one of her kids was on AO reading this.
