Carbon copy of the Montreal game a few weeks ago. Pitiful.
You can't show up for one period and then sit back and watch the goalie play for 40 mins.

Must be the difference in playoff hockey. They just weren't playing like the 2017 Oilers. Will be a tough series

Yeah but face swapping McDavid onto Jesus and printing a long hipster t-shirt is is the sickening part. Just buy the jersey if you wanna profess your man crush.

Worst game they have played all season, more errant passes than a trophy hunter on a game farm. Sekera and Russell were HORRIBLE..........HORRIBLE. They have to make quick easy plays or this series is over.

I agree. Sekera was a turn over machine and just skated around with the Sharks forwards behind his own net... Hit somebody FFS...

My most fervent wish is for the Alberta trams to be the best in the West... The Oilers just a little bester... Lol

As one of the commentators pointed out...the Oilers have few players with actual playoff experience.
Playoff hockey is a whole different mindset than regular season play...hope they can overcome it but I wouldn't bet money they will.

Aye, there's the rub. Regular season success doesn't necessarily transfer into the playoffs. No more so than in the NHL. The playoff record of President's trophy winners capturing the cup isn't great. Different game in the playoffs requiring different discipline and skill set. Game planning goes to a whole new level.

Oh please, I know people that have been assaulted at a Flames game in Calgary just because they cheered for the other team.

Pot calling the kettle black for sure.

I'll take any Canadian team making it on as far as possible obvious I'd prefer the Flames but even the Oilers would be ok *spit*...ugh but at least we might see the cup back in Canada. At the moment all the Canadian teams are down 1 game.
I'd just like to see Bettman squirm

Yeah, I wasn't at that game either. In fact, I stopped spending that kind of money to go to any games, because all drunkenly rabid fans are obnoxious. Why spend that money to have beer spilled on you and get your ears blown in by decibel levels that WCB would cringe at.....

But it would be nice if Alberta hockey fans could just be pleased that either Alberta team (or both) could do well in the play offs, without the silliness of 'anybody but Calgary' or 'anybody but Edmonton'. I just want to see the Cup come back to Canada. The vitriol of pro one, hate the other is silly. Now, if you hate the Ducks, that's a different story all together. That team is spawned right from Satan's ........you know.

I honestly would not be surprised if every single Canadian team is eliminated in the first round, and it really wouldn't hurt my feelings if that happened.

No, just a realist, and I don't believe that any Canadian team has what it takes to win the Stanley Cup.

It's playoffs baby!!! There's no way Couture suits up if it was regular season. It shows how bad he wants to win. That stuff rubs off on his teammates.

Pavelski was the difference in the game. McDavid's going to have to step it up if he expects to outplay Pavelski.

I really liked the Oilers' fans during the anthem. It was a pretty cool display of enthusiasm.

And then this happens.

Not a good look. They were mocking her pretty hard on the sports radio today.
