allergies season is here
Anybody else have bad allergies this year, seems like everything got off to a late start, what do you to do try and stop the eyes from becoming solid shut as well as the sneezing, allergies are the worst thing this time of year.

Mine are the worst they have been, ever. I am amazed at how bad they can get. I am taking Aerius first thing every morning, and even tried the Neti-pot nasal rinse, which didn't help much.
The best advice which has worked wonders for me has been cutting out beer and carbs. That single action has reduced my allergies by at least 50%.

I had terrible hay fever for years. I would get very congested in the chest, sneezy, runny itchy eyes, you name it.
I finally went and saw an allergist in Calgary, got specific about what it was I was allergic too, and they developed a serum to use in a series of shots. This "series" progressed over several years and long story short my allergies are virtually gone. I haven't taken an allergy pill in 2 years. If you suffer I highly recomend checking this out. Our middle son has the same allergy and he is currently starting his round of shots.
In my opinion its WELL worth the effort.

Mine started last month. It's been awful for me. I'm on at least 2 allegra D a day. Only thing that works for me.

I love Alberta, YT,BC and NWT - no allergies. Hate Ontario, NS, NB, QC - tons of stuff to sneeze over.
However, I am suffering a wee bit over pigpoopitis. That makes my eyes water - it'll be over soon.
