Fish Lake Nordegg

Planning on heading to fish lake next week just wandering how the fishing is doing.

I'm there right now and catching tons of fish but have not Hooked into anything big yet.

Last weekend was down in Nordegg. Went to Goldeye lake once and fish lake twice. Goldeye lake was very slow. Fish lake we had much better luck. Caught a lot of smaller ones, nothing of any size. We were fishing in a boat and had the best luck on the side closest to the boat launch, it seemed the further we went from that side of the lake the more sparse the fish were.

Leach fly patterns seemed to have the best luck of any lure. Talking with some other fisherman they had luck for bigger fish quite deep, but the hits were not as often.

Thanks for the info been a slow year for me had knee replacement done and have not been able to get out until now. Cant wait enough is enough already
