Default Hay-Zama bison

Hay guys,

Well we've been up looking for a bison for a few days now. No luck so far lots of old sign and down to one sled now. Just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice they could give a guy. Looks like everyone has been pretty successful so far.

Thanks!

Have you looked all around Zama city? Usually a local herd that hangs around the town or a few mile radius. Seen guys shoot em north along the road to the old dump site. Also seen guys shoot em south near the water treatment plant.and I watched a young lady shoot one on the old air strip west side of town. Just be sensible when shooting around town limits.

Ask the oilfield operators.
Ask the tank truck and bed truck drivers.

Ended up getting one on the lake this morning 👍 If anyone's heading up in the next couple of days shoot me a text if you'd like 780 817 1168. I can give you a rough idea of where to go I'm sure they won't too far.

Default 2018 bison

We are just on our way back today and all I can say was that it was an amazing hunt! We went up on Monday with our first hunting day being Tuesday. Thanks to Albertahunter300 i had mine down by 2:30 on The first day! I ended up with 5-6 year old cow. She was the one that presented the best shot for the opportunity I had so I took it. I have a little regret about not waiting for a bull but still satisfied about the harvest as many do not even get the opportunity. Now off to the butcher and taxidermist!

I'd shoot a cow over a bull... The meat is nicer and the hide is much easier to tan.
