Default Need help with marlin!

I have a .444 marlin, I love the gun. However it's constantly jamming. I've seen a thread on google mentioning that it may require a new follower.
If anyone knows anything that could shine light on this I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks

Ps, I use hornaday 265g

Google "Marlin Jam". It's a simple fix. I have that same gun and shoot 265 FP's also. Mine hasn't done it yet.

I found my 45/70 is REALLY picky about ammo that won't jam.

I find that the light ammo isn't long enough over all. If I use the 405-500 gr stuff its longer and never jams.

When you cycle a round, make sure the rim of the case slips under the extractor,If it doesn't it will bind up. Real common problem with the 1895 Action. PM sent
