Anyone heading to the Derby at CVR?

Just wondering if anyone is heading out there today or tomorrow? And some reports. I've been thinking about going, but its going to be dayum cold.

I've never ice fished in my life, so I figured it would be a good time to get lots of experience and advice. Yet with the weather I might expect everyone to be stuck in a tent, and none of my friends are cool enough to come with me, lol.

might find some people to be tight lipped during the derby and not share any info.

I think if your that competitive or taking it that serious your missing the point, IMO. Yet I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few that serious. Not that I condone it, or would be offended if someone didn't help me out.

I'm not the type to actually ask for advice, but I graciously accept it when its offered.

Been here all day. Cold an slow. Pike derby on wally lake. Of course its slow

Leaving crawling valley at 5.00 today. Check stop on way out. Looked like one sad puppy in back of cop car. Glad I stayed away from wobbly pops. Hope every body was using there noodle today. Also saw cops driving on lake this morning in cop cars. Not much respect for my tax dollars.
