EBay and Rifle accessory selling
Here is something we all need to be aware of IMHO, i.e., the ill-informed having control of issues they know nothing about. This simple plastic magazine accessory stirred up a lot of heat with those in charge on eBay. This guy at eBay not only calls the Tikka an air rifle but reveals a profound lack of understanding of how rifles function etc. Please see attached photo....
Photo 1 is a snippet of the ebay rep's response to a voiced concern.
Photo 2 is a portion of the specific eBay firearms accessory policy which allows for listing of "slides" on eBay.
Background: The item in question is a slide called the "Bob Sled" which fits into specific magazines thereby restricting the magazine capacity to one but at the same time enables fumble free single cartridge loading in specific rifles.
The inventor of this item is relying on the sale of this and related items to support his family during his retirement and has very serious medical issues in his last days.....
