Default New PB caught July 23

Well it doesn't show all that well in the pictures my buddy sucks at pictures

Fish with the gash out of him came in about 8 pounds and 36 inches when I was dragging him in had a follower. Threw the biggest hook I had in pike colour and pattern and sure enough

No girth taken I thought of that after

Came in at 43 inches and 17.5 pounds, weighed in cradle 19.8

Altho he looks small in the picture it was a blast only got 1 cast with that large pike hook and it broke how upsetting I should complain to storm

Enjoy

Congrats on the nice pike.

Geezle and I are noticing those gashes on the pike out there as well. Not sure if that is the cormorant's doing or what, but sure hope they deal with the burgeoning population out there sooner than later.

The gashes are probably from boat props.

We had seen a few that could have defiantly been props but its hard to say they are so aggressive between each other as well, I have had some if fish get eaten on the way in as well.

Pretty sure it is pike red sore disease. It's been going on in Wab for a few years now.
