Default H&k sl8

I kinda thinking of a late Xmas present for myself- after all, I was a very good boy the entire year… Got my eyes on this toy and thinking now if I should or if I shouldn’t… Not much reviews there either. Checked CGN and few other places.
From what I could find is that the accuracy very good and it’s reliable. Saw a few places selling it for $2050. Thinking of using it as a coyote/gopher gun.
Anybody has or had one? Any comments?

Although it's a nice rifle, it wouldn't be my first choice for semi-auto coyote hunting.

While more pricey and even harder to find than HK rifles, an ATRS Modern Sporter (MS) or Modern Varmint (MV) is what I'd recommend.

The SL-8 is more of a truck-gun than a varmint rifle. My 2 cents.

Its an H&K, its non-restricted, and it uses AR mags if I remember correctly.

If you don’t get it now you won’t be able to after the next round of bans.

They do not use AR mags unless you buy a conversion which is around $400 I believe. If a guy can get past the looks they are probably the best thing going these days for the price.

That is correct now that you mention it. The one I shot had the conversion kit.

They do look like Star Trek guns though.

Played with one on the range. The action is nice as it cycles just like any of the higher end HK rifles but it is bulky with the ridiculous top rail and butt.
