Default Sheep packs

I know there's another thread on packs but my threads about badlands packs. Just wondering if any one has or uses them. I currently have the badlands scout I used for everyday but it's small. I'm doing my first backpack hunt this fall in wmu west of rocky going for sheep and looking at the super day pack for the hunt. Just wondering what you guys use and how you tie the skull onto the pack as well

I have used the badlands 2200 I believe for the last 3 years packed out a couple elk and a moose from the mountains but the pack wasn't quite big enough and never found it that comfortable...this year I bought a mystery ranch pack 6500, havnt hunted yet but loaded it up feels way better! heading to the mountains for a good day trip to test her out....

I have a Barney's pinnacle pack from Alaska seem to be super tough and lots of space. It's external frame but I like it.

Default SG

Stone Glacier all the way. Limited in the way of pockets but at 4 lbs and 7400CI and a meat shelf I dont care!! I currently have 2 tree stands and a backpack strapped to it right now. Love love love it

I hiked mt.head with 72 lbs last weekend and loved it,no shifting, tight, good shoulder padding. The only thing I didnt do was strap the rifle to it. If you want any info pm me. Did I tell you I love it?

Well one thing I have found is that the new rave in packs isnt always best. I bought a high priced Kifaru and its not whati hoped for. Make sure the pack fits you and can take the cubic inch of what the max is you want to pack

Paradox, Kifaru, MR, SG are all great packs. Do some research on Google and watch some videos. Decide which is right for you. I recently sold a Kifaru LHG and picked up a Paradox Evo. So far I'm glad I made the switch.

What didn't you like about kifaru and which one was it? I'm looking to buy a kifaru nomad.

Agreed 100% on this. Just got mine this spring and been testing it with 70 pound loads around the hills and around Camrose the last while and it is very comfortable. Lots of good thinking went into the design of this pack, hopefully it holds up as my Kuiu lasted less than one season and just didn't have the quality I'd hoped for.
